Because :- I know how to land

Flying like a unicorn
I drift to the left
Wings inclined, I make the turn
Then in a moment I drift to the right
Wind feels offended
I am flying faster than the jealous wind
The angry little wind tries to knock me down
I incline my wings and go up
It tries to catch me but it fails
I incline my wings and go down
Wind, poor wind tired but irritated
Plans to knock me out as a friend
“Let’s fly together” it says
I am suspicious; I say “no I’ll fly alone”
“I can teach you some cool stuff” it says
For a moment I think
“Ok, let’s do it” then I say.

Wind turns its one flap to right
and the other to left.
I follow and we rotate and rotate.
“This is cool” I exclaim.
“Check this out then” it boasts
it bends both its wings down
with a push it raises.
I try the same and it feels great.
The game goes on for hours.

“Let’s try something new and tough” it says
“What?” I question
“Let’s see who can touch the ground” it says
It bends its wings up and pushes down
I try the same.
Wind touches the ground so hard
that it breaks its left wing.
I just land and walk to the wind.
“How come you didn’t crash” it asks.
I smile and say “Because I know how to land”

Moral:  “Don’t belittle anyone; you never know what they are capable of”

I was flying right along with this poem. I’m glad the hero landed safely. I was suspicious that something bad was in store for him. Thanks for visiting my site. Glad to have you , and hope you’ll come back frequently. I’ll be following yours, too.
