Imaginary Society

In an imaginary society I live, survive and breathe

Yet the tear rolls down with unnoticed grief

Hardly have I understood what the society is for

Is it just to watch me burn or watch me bleed?

Where is the religion they taught me about?

I did hear of several kind

But what about the one where we unconditionally love

Is it just to let me live yet murder me a thousand times?

What about the guy named God I Hear?

Is he still around in our society?

Last time I checked he was described in some book

Said, work is god, love is god and heart is a god, a million times.

I don’t see that love no more,

I don’t see that faith no more,

The kindness withers as if Hades just walked by,

With a smirking smile yet we live,

Survive and suffice mile by mile

Is there a point being emotionless?

Is it just about being alive?

I will give it to the society, the very wise words I recite

Like my friend said: “just because we breathe doesn’t mean we are alive”
