Strange Love

As the night grows dark,

My heart jumps out of my chest,

It travels the thousands mile to find a better life,

Yet it always finds you; knowing that you are the one.

With the daylight,

It comes back, and hides into my chest,

Then slowly looks at you sleeping beside me,

Rare and astounding beauty,

It grabs me so tight and gives me a strange strength.

Then as the sun climbs up,

You wake up, your hand slides on my chest,

My heart jumps to touch your hands,

Like a child, it dances, sings and merry.

With the slip of your lips on mine,

My heart goes crazy,

It loses the very sanity and feels alive,

And when your breath gives me the warmth,

I know this is it, the love; the Strange love.
