A Phoneix And A Lion

Where is the courage?

And where is the pride?

Some words of inspiration

And some words of life

Are you the king?

He asked raising his voice.

I am the king, the selfless being

Abide to me you animal of low self-esteem.

He asked, who are you?

A myth and a fake

Burn in hell you son of ash face

Where is the truth, honesty and the character?

You are a lie, just like another world’s sky.

We question other’s character every day, ignoring the very fact that we might be the same in the end. We all our same in the end, ignorant, fools, selfish and destructive.

Like Mahatma Gandhi said “It has always been a mystery to me how men can feel themselves honored by the humiliation of their fellow beings” I raise my heart on my hand and then ponder as how I literally became a part of the dumb society and acted on the drama of this harsh reality. I question myself “Do I really feel happy and honored when I humiliate someone?” well the answer pops-up instantly “No, how can you actually feel happy when you look at the face of the person you just humiliated”

Then as I go on and indulge myself onto questioning social behavior, I think about how we actually became like this?, it’s not like we already knew how to be mean when we were in the womb, I guess the first time I actually learnt to be mean is when I purposely grouped with my friends and boycotted the other kid. I don’t know why I did that, I have no explanation today but the only one thing that it came instantly to me. And that’s how I started believing that we humans have demons inside us from the time we are born, but it exists as a seed and only grows as we become an part of these sociopathic practices.

Another quote from Mahatma Gandhi that touches me and enlightens me is “I object to violence because when it seems to do well, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.” I completely agree to it and now after years of being the angry young man, I am quietly slipping to a non-violent person, at least I am trying to be one.

Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.Dalai Lama

Violence never helped anyone; it’s the love and affection that truly takes away your heart.  But not ignoring the other quote from Mahatma “It is better to be violent, if there is violence in our hearts, than to put on the cloak of nonviolence to cover impotence. I consider myself necessary violent and a peaceful warrior who would only fight when it is needed.

Then as I keep moving on the path of searching happiness, I stumble upon this quote from Dalai Lama “Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions. and I fall in love with this one. Realizing that I was very young when I figured out the secret of life and secret of success, it’s simply in you and you alone to diverse the outcome of any humanly possible event related to you. See it’s not science but a simple life of determination, belief and hard work that shapes your life and you. And that is so beautifully expressed by Colin Powell when he says A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work”.

I’ve always been a hard worker since I climbed up my teens, I believed constantly and firmly that anything, that anything of and out of this world can be altered by the hard work and there is never a point that one meets in his lifetime that he should actually quit and give up.

Then I remember a quote that has been my all-time favorite and have helped me to keep going on and keep surviving the tough times “A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history” Mahatma said it beautifully and the truth is obvious from the very fact that he helped us to get our freedom.

We have to work for it, become the mythical characters and the strengths for the social pillars, we indeed are the only hope that would ever save the breath of innocence and originality. Moreover humanity will only survive if we let it prosper in harmony.

Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances.” Mahatma Gandhi

There is not just evil out there, I know good will exists and perishes strongly in our hearts and there is immense will to make the world a better place to live in but we will continuously fail until we find peace within.

Let’s be the lion and roar the begun of the freedom and good will.

Let’s be the phoenix and heal the world of its evil.
