A GLASS OF CLEAN WATER
Dear friend,
I recently started a campaign (http://mycharitywater.org/a-glass-of-water) to raise money for those 800 million people around the world who don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water, and I’m doing something about it with the help of charity: water.
My Campaign:
A GLASS OF CLEAN WATER
Why am I doing this? Because:
“I remember this incident from my childhood when I was 16 and was travelling alone via train. When the train stopped I stepped out and hurried to buy a bottle of water for me. The shopkeeper didn’t let me have that bottle because I had no money and so as the train honked I hurried to get in. I quickly jumped out on the next station to drink from the public drinking area. What I noticed was horrible, the water was so dirty, I simply couldn’t drink it and stayed thirsty for next 8 hours until I reached home. For the first time ever in my life I realized what it felt like being without water and I experienced the thirst.
I was lucky that I had water at home, I had clean water to drink and even for toilet. Many people don’t have that luxury, they don’t have clean water and in many cases they even don’t have any water.
Let’s make this world a better place and at least help in providing clean water to the people in need. Let no one die because of drinking unclean water and no one die of thirst.”
Help me raise $1,000 by Apr 3, 2014. Donate to my campaign here:

What’s really cool about charity: water is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water project costs in the field, and they’ll prove every single dollar. When the project we help fund is complete, they’ll send us a digital completion report with GPS coordinates and photos of the community we helped. Here’s an example.
Every little bit counts, so click here to donate to my campaign.
Please pass share this campaign with your friends and family.
Thank you for your support! Akhand
