I wonder
Who have we been for this long? I wonder.
Rolling tears, the shattering of heart, feverish flesh and a frustration of who we are, why did we make our lives complicated? Was there a valid reason? I wonder
Bearing the loads of thousands of hopes, the naked man walks in thunder, sleepless and hungry, why there was no one to care? Was there a valid reason? I wonder
Fake inspiration, bluish blood and shivering relations, the threads of millions of lies, the crawling dreams, why there was no one to understand? Was there a valid reason? I wonder
Strings of birth, the bed and the toys, guardians, the age and the fireflies, was that the bond of a lifetime? Why there was no emotion? Was there a valid reason? I wonder
Simple little things, the hustle, the rebel, some mischief and some songs of an old castle, why was there no one to open the door? Was there a valid reason? I wonder
Traditions and culture, the shackles and plunder, the rope and the ventilator, why are we so bounded? Why was there no free breath? Was there a valid reason? I wonder
Expectations, the good and the bad categorizations, the color and the creed, mixed thoughts of undying greed, why was there so much of distinction? Was there a valid reason? I wonder
“Torn into pieces I crawl though the tides of time, whispering and sliding I sing the songs that don’t rhyme. May be the journey would rest at some point, or the world would end and there will only be a guiding light” ~ An Empty Glass
