How Do You Survive The Shame?

How do you survive the shame?

The guilt of not being born, a follower.

When the subject matters, but the heart differs.

Who do you choose? The right or the wrong.

How do you figure out the world, bulging out of your arms.

When does this pain end? Death or a decision.

Standing on the edge of tomorrow when the present ends.

How do you survive the shame?

The guilt of not being born, a social sane.

When family matters, but the traditions do not fit.

How do you live with yourself, you poor kid.

When does the truth become lies? Ten or twenty.

Grown up with mustaches, you seem shaved in a blind city.

How do you survive the shame?

The guilt of not being born, a simple man.

When honesty matters, but the riches seems of no worth.

How do you explain your heart to the root, so steadfast.

Where does this journey end? Fire or the soil.

Doesn’t matter, I guess we all march through the turmoil.
