A Simple Man
Forever is a long time
What I am is all about now
A twisted, broken yet un-compromised soul
Fighting through the shadows of traditions
Paving the way for the younger generations
Aren’t you wrong? I have been questioned
But what is right? I ask
For you have yours and I have mine
We have been through this, a thousand times
Out of the religious scope
I am all about heart and not the nose
Caught in the midst of social boundaries
I am a simple man
Holding on to the moral code of eternities.
