It seems that it was only yesterday

When I came to existence

I started to walk

I started school

I was in my teens

I found true friendships

I started putting my feelings into words

I learnt to say good-byes

I fell in love

I had my first breakup

I started planning for my future

I got married

I had kids

I was working day and night towards retirement

I retired

I was sitting on my rock-chair sipping some good old whishky

I fell in deep sleep

And like that life was over with promises of a new one
