Last Drop Of Alcohol

Did you ever listen to me? Did you? He says

There he sits on the ground just before its time,

Stares on his face, he notices the blankness

Where was the concern dad? He says

He counts the breath left

Slowly extinguishing like a fading flame

He closes his eyes

Wake up!  Wake up! don’t you die son?

The red eyes rolls up

I cannot help it Dad

The time has come to bid good-bye

Do not do this son; I am sorry, he cries

Do not leave me son; do not leave me alone

He looks up on his face, tears touches his eyes

Did you ever listen to me? Did you? He says

I still love you dad

With a whisper, he takes his last breath,

Deep into an ocean he dives to the depth

Sheds the last drop of alcohol; the cursed father’s eyes

Sadness, guilt and regret seems to be the only choice

He throws up the bottle

However, it is too late

Like the shattered glass

His son’s life had already died.
